rather "busy" preparing for the trip to spain n excited bout it :)
the pre-trip preparation is expensive!
glad tat the air-tix n lodging r covered..
stuffs to be packed in the luggage seems really heavy!
temperature over there will b ranging from ~15 to 25°C! still pondering whether winter clothing is a neccessity...
the noise pollution here in the lab is horrid! esp when the head is not around! the female supervisor is yakking on n on n on, non stop together wif few other females! it's distracting my attempted concentration on work! intolerable!

gotten A mark 25 pcs 8x dvd-r media for $17

total damage = $69 + $17 = $86

finally installed it on friday, but it seems to be prompting me this "Secondary IDE channel no 80 conductor cable installed" whenever i start up the computer.
n being a novice in attempting to install it, (blindly w/o looking at instructions, but being OEM package, there wasn't any anyway, neither did i go find out how to fix it), it took me quite some time. then self-concluded that i will need a 80 conductor cable, therefore when to comex, to try look for one, but none, n ended up at funan getting one for $7.

upon reaching home, spent another few hours slowly fixing it, realised it's all futile effort, it's betta off w/o it.
therefore total damage on the dvd writer was $69 + $17 + $7 = $93
regretful tat i could hav juz gotten the LG GSA-4167B internal DVD DL drive going at $89
